# Binance Smart Chain (BSC)

[Binance Smart Chain](https://academy.binance.com/en/articles/an-introduction-to-binance-smart-chain-bsc) is een gedecentraliseerde, kostenefficiënte chain waar Ethereum developers gemakkelijk smart contracts kunnen deployen die naadloos compatibel zijn met andere netwerken. Het netwerk gebruikt een aangepaste versie van  proof-of-stake (PoS) consensus ook wel bekend als het proof-of-staked-authority (PoSA) algoritme.

Het kan gebruikt worden via de web interface op [binance.org](https://binance.org/)  of met de [Trust Wallet](https://academy.binance.com/en/articles/what-is-trust-wallet) en [Safepal](https://www.safepal.io/) apps.
